Supportive texts that feel like a hug.

So I text my girls all the time and most of the time it’s just to convey some information about dinner, what time they will be home, did you clean your room, who are they with, where are you going, come down for dinner, what time is practice, how was your practice, and all the things that send some sort of message to get them moving into action.

So I was thinking about how can we speak life into them without feeling like a lecturer, or a nag and use the device for little moments that deep down will make them feel like you gave them a hug and you feel like a really great mom!

Here are a few of my favorite short and sweet texts that you can start right now. Now don’t send them all in one day. Make it special and send them once a week, once a month, or every Wednesday. What I’m saying is don’t make it weird!

A positive message can go a long way and I’ll tell you they will never say anything to you about your positive, loving texts, but they know and appreciate it even when they don’t show it. I promise!
